Senior Service Charge Accountant

We're working with a reputable managing agent based in Hertfordshire, managing a diverse portfolio of properties across London and the Home Counties.
As a medium-sized firm with ambitions to grow, they seek to appoint a Senior Service Charge Accountant to join their team.
- Working from an office base in Hertford, Monday to Friday, 9-5.30
- Using QUBE to undertake a wide-ranging and influential accounts role, liaising with internal teams as required
- Excellent QUBE experience, good all-round system skills, including Excel, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks desktop
- Double entry bookkeeping, review ledgers for consistency and quality
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial management reports, including budget versus actual reports
- Reconciliation of supplier accounts, preparation and checking of year-end accounts
- Ensuring the service charge accounts team is effective and productive, mentoring and training staff
- Other related accounting duties in support of the business, its clients, and regulatory requirements
- Full or part-qualified AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA desirable, but not essential - study will be encouraged and funded
This role will suit an experienced Service Charge Accountant looking to expand their skills working for a small to medium-sized enterprise, offering personal growth and career opportunities.
