A leading global independent medical communications agency is seeking a highly skilled Freelance Senior Medical Writer to contribute to their medical education team. This initial 3-month contract offers a competitive remuneration package and the opportunity to work outside of IR35.

The Role

As a Freelance Medical Writer, you will be valued for your scientific expertise and will be involved in a diverse range of medical communications projects. Your passion for producing high-quality content will be essential in adapting style and tone to meet client objectives for various target audiences and subject areas. You will collaborate with medical experts and stay up-to-date with therapeutic areas, good publication practices, and industry guidelines.

Requirements
  • A degree in life sciences, preferably combined with a science Master's or PhD
  • Several years of experience in medical communication as a writer
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in standard computer software, including Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Excel
