About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and kind individual to join our team as an As and When Play Worker. This role involves working with children and young people with special educational needs and/or a disability, providing support and facilitating play and leisure activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with children and young people in group sessions, promoting their engagement and participation in play and leisure activities.
  • Collaborate with other staff and volunteers to ensure the children and young people are safe, cared for, and having a good time.
  • Develop and implement play and leisure activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the children and young people.
  • Work on an as and when basis, with hours typically after school, weekends, and school holidays.
