About Fqps

Fqps is a successful and friendly firm in North London, seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in litigation and be able to work effectively with all types of people.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Conduct thorough investigations, research, and initial case assessments to support our litigation team.
  2. Draft and file pleadings, motions, and appellate documents with the court, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  3. Perform administrative tasks, including calendar management, case file organization, and logistics coordination.
  4. Maintain accurate records of pleadings and discovery indexes.
  5. Provide assistance to solicitors with applications and requests, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  6. Gather relevant information from various sources, utilizing strong analytical and organizational skills.
  7. Support case settlements and negotiations, working closely with the litigation team.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  1. At least one year of experience as a Paralegal in a litigation department.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all types of people.
  3. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to use initiative and seek guidance when needed.
  4. Commitment to teamwork, self-motivation, and professionalism.
  5. Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and document management.

Job Requirements

  1. Full-time position.
  2. Competitive salary range: £20,000.00-£23,490.00 per year.
  3. Additional pay: commission pay and company pension.
  4. 8 hour shift schedule.

Experience and Qualifications

  1. Paralegal experience: at least one year (preferred).
  2. United Kingdom (required).
