About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Designer to join our team at Hunter Mason Consulting Ltd. As a Roofing Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating detailed CAD drawings and technical plans for roofing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed CAD drawings and technical plans for roofing projects, including layouts and elevations.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design specifications are met and projects are delivered on time.
  • Revise and update existing CAD drawings based on project changes or client feedback.
  • Assist in developing design solutions that are both practical and cost-effective, taking into account client requirements and industry standards.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain an organized library of design documents and ensure all drawings are backed up and archived appropriately.
  • Support the project team with technical advice and guidance during the construction phase.
About You
  • Proven experience as a CAD Technician, ideally within the roofing or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
  • Strong understanding of construction and roofing principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant building regulations and industry standards is an advantage.
