About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals in Weston Super Mare. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students of all abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), in a mainstream or specialist school setting.

Your main duties will include:

  • Managing the classroom environment to ensure a safe and productive learning space
  • Running activities and leading 1:1 and small group interventions to support student learning
  • Supporting students with diverse learning needs, including those with SEN, to ensure they reach their full potential
  • Reporting on student progress and liaising with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to inform teaching practices

We are looking for someone who is passionate about education, has experience working with children, particularly toddlers, and has knowledge of special education practices and strategies. You will need to be able to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues, and possess strong organizational skills to assist with lesson planning and classroom management.
