Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) - A Strategic Leadership Opportunity


Bangura Solutions is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join our team. As a CISO, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's information assets.


Key Responsibilities

As a CISO, you will be responsible for:

  1. Leading the Information Security Function: You will lead the development and implementation of our information security strategy, policies, and procedures.
  2. Establishing Governance and Risk Management: You will establish and maintain effective governance and risk management frameworks to ensure the security and integrity of our information assets.
  3. Driving Transformation and Innovation: You will lead the development and implementation of innovative security solutions to drive business growth and transformation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  1. Proven Experience in Information Security: You will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with a strong background in risk management, governance, and transformation.
  2. Leadership and Management Skills: You will have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate large teams.
  3. Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Industry Recognized Certifications: You will hold industry recognized certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.

Desirable Criteria

It would be beneficial if you have:

  1. Prior Experience as a CISO: You will have prior experience as a CISO, with a strong understanding of the role and its responsibilities.
  2. Experience of Managing Tight Resource Constraints: You will have experience of managing tight resource constraints, conflicting priorities, and dynamic programs.
