Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Leadership Opportunity to join our client, a leading scaleup in the finance industry. As a Technical Leadership Opportunity, you will be responsible for leading and managing teams of software engineers, fostering a collaborative environment, and supporting the personal development of team members.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage teams effectively: Provide guidance, support, and direction to team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  2. Foster a collaborative environment: Encourage open communication, teamwork, and a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  3. Support personal development of team members: Provide regular feedback, coaching, and mentoring to help team members grow and develop in their roles.

Requirements:

  1. Experience leading or managing teams: Proven track record of leading and managing teams of software engineers.
  2. Passion for people and personal development: Strong passion for developing and supporting the growth of team members.
  3. Software engineering background: Strong technical background in software engineering, with experience in JavaScript or JVM ecosystems.
  4. Based around Manchester: Must be based in or around Manchester.

What We Offer:

  1. Competitive salary: £70,000 - £80,000 base salary.
  2. Discretionary bonus: Up to 20% discretionary bonus.
