Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 7.5t Delivery Driver to join our team at Staffing Match. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring timely and safe delivery of bedroom furniture to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all transport legal requirements and company policies.
  • Engage with customers in a warm and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Deliver products to customers' rooms of choice, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Install bedroom products once trained and capable to do so, as required.
  • Ensure all health and safety requirements are adhered to when driving, parking, and loading/unloading the vehicle.
  • Work with warehouse teams to ensure products are loaded and wrapped correctly to prevent damage.
Requirements
  • UK driving licence Cat 1
  • Valid driver's CPC DQ card or valid driver's digital card
  • Previous commercial driving experience in a 7.5t vehicle
  • Previous experience and understanding of using digital tachographs
  • Previous experience within a customer-facing role
  • Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items of furniture with manual handling experience
