The Role:
As a Supervised Contact Professional, you will work within our Children's Contact Centre Service, observing and supervising contact between children and family members or friends in various settings. Your main purpose will be to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all parties involved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Observe and supervise contact between children and family members or friends
- Identify strengths and potential risks, intervening where necessary to reduce or remove harm or abuse
- Develop and maintain accurate and factual reports of observations
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive understanding of family dynamics and child development
Requirements:
- Good report writing skills
- Awareness of families and family dynamics
- Understanding of child development
