About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GP to lead our Primary Care team at HMP Oakwood. As a Lead General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing clinical governance, development, and leadership to the team. You will work closely with the wider team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of the team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the Primary Care team
- Develop and implement clinical governance policies and procedures
- Lead the development of the Primary Care team
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Contribute to the development of the team and the organization
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- MBChB or MBBS qualification
- Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List
- Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice
- RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative partnerships
- Ability to line manage clinicians and support with clinical supervision
