We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to join our team at Aberdeen Airport. As an Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for delivering maintenance services of airport assets in a safe and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake planned or reactive maintenance work on engineering assets, ensuring optimum serviceability and meeting agreed service levels.
- Maintenance diagnosis and fault finding on Electrical, Mechanical, and electronic assets associated with the airport.
- Undertake maintenance tasks outside of core skills, using prevailing AIAL IT and work management systems.
- Ensure all maintenance and engineering task records are updated in accordance with regulatory commitments.
- Operate and promote working practices that ensure a safe working environment for self and others.
- Engage proactively in work associated with delivering performance improvements within the engineering environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers and maintenance team colleagues on the progress of completing work.
- Work with others to help them learn and upgrade skills to facilitate the maintenance and operation of new assets.
- Participate in task risk assessments and utilize them in the completion of all maintenance tasks.
- Completed a recognized Engineering Apprenticeship in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, or Building Services discipline.
- Ability to work within a wide range of local business and external policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Knowledge of Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
