Your expertise in big data technologies, including Hive, Spark, and Scala, will be essential in identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact production.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test cases for Hadoop-based systems, covering various aspects such as data ingestion, processing, storage, and retrieval.
  • Utilize scripting languages like Groovy to automate testing processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Perform comprehensive testing of REST APIs used in our big data ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure that new features and functionalities meet quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT industry with a strong focus on big data technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and Scala.
  • Experience with AWS cloud platform, including services like Databricks, Delta Lake, and Delta Live Tables.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy.
  • Strong understanding of REST API testing methodologies.

Preferred Skills:
