Location: Remote (with occasional on-site visits)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team at Remedy Education. As an SEN Tutor, you will work one-on-one with students who require additional support to achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach core subjects and basic skills to students with special educational needs
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to student success
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in special education and adapt instruction to meet the evolving needs of students

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching certification
  • At least 1 year of experience teaching and assessing students with special needs
  • Proven track record of improving student confidence, self-esteem, and love of learning
  • Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
