Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at Cromwell Hospital. As a Cardiothoracic Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to adult inpatients with varied and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiac conditions, including those undergoing cardiothoracic or major general surgery.
  • Monitor and provide appropriate physiotherapy services to the adult Intensive Care Unit.
  • Manage clinical risk within your caseload and ensure effective communication and management of potential risks.
  • Liaise with nursing staff and assess or deal appropriately with new admissions.
  • Provide assistance to weekend colleagues as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy.
  • HCPC registration and CSP membership.
  • Proven broad experience in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, including acute respiratory, critical care, general surgery, and general medical caseloads.
  • Knowledge of specialist devices appropriate to respiratory care.
