We are looking for a committed and skilled Senior Catastrophic Injury Attorney to become part of a leading firm specializing in serious and catastrophic injury law. The ideal candidate will oversee a diverse portfolio of serious injury cases, delivering expert legal guidance and representation to clients who have experienced significant injuries. This position requires a profound level of empathy, professionalism, and legal expertise to secure optimal outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Case Management:
    • Manage a diverse array of serious injury claims, including but not limited to catastrophic injuries, brain injuries, spinal injuries, and amputations.
    • Conduct comprehensive investigations, gathering and analyzing evidence to construct robust cases.
  2. Client Interaction:
    • Offer compassionate and transparent legal advice to clients, keeping them updated on case developments and next steps.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clients feel supported throughout the legal journey.
  3. Legal Documentation:
    • Draft, review, and submit all necessary legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and expert reports.
    • Ensure all documentation adheres to relevant legal standards and regulations.
  4. Negotiation and Settlement:
    • Negotiate settlements with opposing parties, striving to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
    • Prepare and represent clients in mediation and settlement discussions.
  5. Court Representation:
    • Represent clients in court, preparing and presenting cases effectively.
    • Collaborate with barristers and other legal professionals as needed.
  6. Compliance and Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay informed about changes in personal injury law and relevant case law.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies.


Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor with a current practicing certificate.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in serious injury and catastrophic injury claims.
  • Demonstrated success in managing high-value, complex personal injury cases.
  • Exceptional negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to provide clear and concise advice.
  • Ability to navigate sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in legal research and familiarity with case management systems.
