Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-1:30am

Our client, a leading privately owned specialist food manufacturing group, is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer to join their team. As a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, including flow wrappers, labelling machines, packaging and conveyor systems, form fill machines, metal detectors, wrapping machines, thermo printers, and tray sealers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance schedules
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical breakdowns
  • Working with PLC controlled equipment, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve maintenance goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Apprentice trained engineer in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Experience of mechanical breakdowns and maintenance schedules
  • Knowledge of production equipment, including flow wrappers and labelling machines
  • Ability to work with PLC controlled equipment, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Strong multi-skilled background with ability to fault find on a variety of production equipment
