Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Packaging Engineer to join our team at IC Resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with our engineering and product development teams to specify and develop packaging solutions for volume manufacture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop packaging solutions that meet our product requirements.
  • Work with vendors to select and qualify assembly processes, ensuring high-quality and efficient manufacturing.
  • Coordinate day-to-day management of external vendors, ensuring timely delivery and quality of packaging components.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of semiconductor device manufacturing steps, high-volume testing, and packaging processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in packaging and assembly techniques, including dicing, die attach, flip chip, wire bonding, and other relevant technologies.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant technical field, such as engineering or materials science.
  • Proven experience in packaging and assembly engineering, with a strong understanding of semiconductor device manufacturing and testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
