About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at AAK International in Hull. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our equipment and systems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and planning teams to ensure seamless maintenance and engineering activities.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop key metrics to measure reliability performance.
  • Coordinate with engineering to identify correct spares and communicate with stores/procurement.
  • Assist with root cause analysis to identify future plans and develop maintenance plans for assets.
About You

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional with a strong background in maintenance. You will ideally have an understanding of reliability practices and a passion for ensuring equipment runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key qualifications include:

  • Experience in performing maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on various industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques for diagnosing equipment issues.
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance projects.
  • Ability to collaborate and/or coordinate with different departments to ensure minimal downtime and efficient project completion.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
