About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at ARV Solutions. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and constructing steel structures in the UK and overseas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop structural steelwork for various projects, including industrial, commercial, and leisure structures.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Conduct value engineering and prepare CDM risk registers.
- Undertake design calculations, including connections, bolts, and welds, and linear element or finite element analysis.
- Attend meetings and site visits to ensure projects are progressing as planned.
- Develop operation and maintenance manuals for clients.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in an engineering discipline, preferably structural engineering.
- Strong understanding of bending moments and forces, as well as linear and finite element analysis.
- Ability to learn relevant software and attend office meetings.
- Working towards Chartered membership of the Institution of Structural Engineers.
- Collaborative approach and excellent communication skills.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary, starting at £26,000 for Graduate Engineers and rising to £47,000 for experienced engineers.
- 25 days holiday + statutory days.
- Annual discretionary bonus.
- Payment of IStructE membership fees.
