Position Summary:
In response to a substantial rise in operational demands and the company's expansion, we are currently looking for a Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team on a contract basis.

Role Responsibilities:
As part of the workshop team, you will report directly to the Workshop Manager and will be tasked with the upkeep and repair of a diverse fleet at our facility.

Key Duties Include:
- Conducting maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, from light vans to heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and trailers.
- Performing MOT inspections and testing on the fleet.
- Responding to breakdowns and executing routine maintenance checks.
- Managing maintenance schedules, overseeing stock control, and generating detailed reports.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance, preferably with commercial vehicles.
- C&G/NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in mechanics or a related field.
- A valid UK driving license is essential.
- Experience working with large commercial vehicles or HGVs is preferred.
- Previous experience in a logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
