Position: Senior FX Option Structurer / FX Structuring Manager

Compensation: Up to 70K + Bonus and Benefits

Location: London

Key Responsibilities:

Designing Customized Option Strategies:

  • Creating tailored option strategies that meet client requirements and adapt to market dynamics, ensuring these structures are both effective and aligned with clients' risk and return goals.

Executing Complex FX Trades:

  • Overseeing the execution of significant and intricate foreign exchange transactions that deviate from standard market practices, focusing on achieving optimal pricing while minimizing market disruption.

Market Risk and Liquidity Management:

  • Regularly assessing and managing the risk exposure and liquidity of various derivative positions, implementing strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure adequate liquidity.

Excel-Based Hedging Models Development:

  • Developing advanced Excel models and tools for clients to hedge against market volatility, equipping them with robust strategies to safeguard their portfolios from unfavorable market shifts.

Options Desk Oversight:

  • Leading the operations of the options desk, ensuring adherence to regulatory reporting requirements, managing option expirations, executing trades, restructuring agreements, and providing training on systems and processes.

Collaboration with IT Development:

  • Partnering with IT teams to innovate and enhance technological solutions that streamline FX execution and option structuring, improving the overall experience for clients and internal stakeholders.

Hybrid Work Model:

  • This role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the London office to promote teamwork and collaboration.

International Travel:

  • The position may involve occasional travel to international offices, fostering global collaboration and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives across various regions.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance or a quantitative field is essential for this role.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 18 months of hands-on experience in options structuring, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the associated strategies and financial instruments.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in advanced Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting. Familiarity with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) is a plus for automating tasks and developing custom tools.

Industry Background:

  • Experience in reputable banking institutions or fund management firms, specifically within environments that handle complex financial products, excluding FX brokerage firms.

Communication Skills:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with senior management, clients, and internal teams, capable of articulating complex financial concepts and strategies clearly and confidently.
