We are working with a leading manufacturing company to find a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team in Skelmersdale on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Improve the overall reliability and performance of plant, personnel, and production equipment and processes
- Perform preventive maintenance and in-line quality checks
- Monitor and control processes using Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods
- Analyze data to fault-find and develop prioritized improvement plans
- Maintain and develop the delivery of finished products in line with cost, quality, and production schedule requirements
- Train and mentor staff in an approachable and constructive manner
- Electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, servo controls PLC fault-finding (Omron preferred)
- Experience of robotics (ABB preferred), including automated assembly production lines
- Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and follow SOPs and training processes
- Ability and willingness to work a night shift if required
- 18th Edition Electrical
