Position Overview

The role involves managing a diverse range of high-value claims within the Construction and Engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage investigations, which may take place domestically or internationally.
  • Foster and strengthen business relationships.
  • Receive and acknowledge new claims promptly.
  • Market existing and new business opportunities.
  • Develop case management strategies, including site visits and consultations with various stakeholders such as Insured parties, Brokers, Claimants, and Experts.
  • Draft comprehensive reports detailing all aspects of claims, including policy interpretation, liability assessments, and future action plans.
  • Conduct site visits, interview witnesses, and prepare detailed witness statements.
  • Instruct and oversee surveyors, legal representatives, and other specialists as necessary.
  • Maintain regular communication with all involved parties, calculate and authorize interim payments, and prepare interim reports.
  • Build and maintain relationships with current clients while identifying potential new clients.
  • Keep accurate and updated records, ensuring compliance with any technical or legal updates affecting cases.
  • Stay informed about the Business Continuity program and understand your role within it.
