Housing Partner (Housing Officer)

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our Housing Services team in Peterborough. If you're passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and making a positive impact in your community, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

About the Role:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Permanent position

As a Housing Partner, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing support and guidance to help them navigate our services. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective management and maintenance of tenancies, including:

  • Onboarding new tenants and setting up payment plans
  • Managing anti-social behaviour and resolving customer complaints
  • Utilizing legal remedies to end tenancies efficiently and in line with regulations

You'll develop strong relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners, building trust and confidence in our services. Your excellent communication skills, empathy, and ability to work under pressure will be essential in delivering exceptional results.

Requirements:

  • Previous customer service experience, ideally in a housing context
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to empathize with stakeholders
  • Resilience and ability to deal positively with change
  • Ability to work under pressure and driven to achieve positive outcomes
  • Maintain accuracy when handling customer data in line with GDPR
  • Flexible approach to work and willingness to travel

Location:

This role involves travel to customer homes across the Peterborough area and regular visits to our Peterborough office. We promote agile working and encourage working from home, as long as we meet customer needs.
