About the Role

Cold Ocean Salmon Inc., a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Vessel Captain to join their team based in Newfoundland. As a key member of the marine operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the maintenance barge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grid installation and maintenance
  • Inspection and repair of equipment and facilities
  • Cage and net installation and removal
  • Net washing and cleaning
  • General site maintenance and upkeep
  • Assistance with harvest operations and other duties as required
Requirements
  • Fishing Master IV certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel locally and work rotating shifts
