Job Title: Highways Design Team Leader

Location: London

Job Summary:
Huphuphup is seeking an experienced Highways Design Team Leader to join our Consultancy division. The role is full-time, permanent, and offers a competitive salary (up to £70K) and a wide range of benefits.

As Highways Design Team Leader, you will help lead the development and delivery of our excellent design services. You will be delivering projects in high-profile central London locations, providing technical direction, liaising with clients, contractors, and other divisions. You will resolve technical issues as they occur and monitor the progress of your areas of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Managing designs and implementing highway engineering solutions
  2. Developing excellent and effective collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, external providers, and other agencies
  3. Carrying out monthly programme and financial reporting
  4. Liaising with the client team on progress
  5. Preparing reports, drawings, schedules, bills of quantities, cost estimates, and other documents in accordance with local procedures
Skills and Experience Required:

We are looking for a Chartered Engineer, who holds IEng or equivalent. You will have significant experience of highway engineering and urban design within a consultancy environment. You will be familiar with local government and private sector clients, and you will have good working knowledge of different contract types, including NEC3.
