About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Recovery Lead to join our team at Solent NHS Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our mental health services and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of a recovery-focused approach across our mental health services, working closely with our Recovery College and peer workers.
- Collaborate with our clinical teams to ensure that our services are tailored to meet the needs of our patients and their families.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with our partners and stakeholders, including local authorities, charities, and community groups.
- Provide leadership and guidance to our staff, ensuring that they have the skills and support they need to deliver high-quality care.
- Work closely with our quality and safety teams to ensure that our services are safe, effective, and responsive to the needs of our patients.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive education and training program for our staff, ensuring that they have the knowledge and skills they need to deliver recovery-focused care.
- Lead on the development and implementation of a robust governance and quality framework, ensuring that our services are safe, effective, and responsive to the needs of our patients.
Requirements
- Master's degree level or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as mental health, social work, or nursing.
- Registration with a relevant professional body, such as the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working in a leadership role, preferably in a mental health setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, patients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership working.
- Experience of developing and implementing quality and safety initiatives, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions to improve patient outcomes.
