Games Development Lecturer Opportunity

We are seeking an innovative and experienced Games Development Lecturer to join our high-achieving Games, Media and Arts Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, delivering, assessing, and internal verifying Level 1 to Level 3 Creative Media Production and Games Design courses, with a focus on Games Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective teaching and learning experiences for students.
  • Assess and provide feedback to students on their progress and development.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials.
  • Engage with local, national, and regional employers to develop curriculums and ensure they are up-to-date and relevant.
  • Embed the development of English and Maths in teaching practice.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient use of innovative resources allocated to the programmes.

Requirements:

  • Education to degree level (or relevant professional qualifications) in an appropriate subject.
  • Experience of teaching Level 1 to Level 3/4 Creative Media programmes, including BTEC and UAL syllabus.
  • Recognized as a good or better teacher with a proven track record of successful curriculum design, implementation, and development.
  • Industrial experience in Adobe programmes (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.) and 3D computer game design and 3D animation production pipeline and relevant software (3D Max, Maya, ZBrush, Mudbox, and Adobe Suite).
