Psychotherapist - Part Time Opportunity

Cygnet Health Care is seeking a skilled and dedicated Psychotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Cygnet Hospital Woking. As a Psychotherapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively as a team member within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to provide comprehensive care to service users.
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments and provide evidence-based therapy to individuals and groups.
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the MDT, ensuring a holistic approach to service user care.
- Evaluate the service and contribute to its development, conducting clinical research and disseminating outcomes through conference presentations and publications.
- To provide a high-quality psychotherapeutic service to wards at Cygnet Woking, including assessment, formulation, therapeutic intervention, implementation, and monitoring of outcomes.
- To offer a range of evidence-based individual and group therapeutic interventions within the service, tailored to meet the unique needs of service users.
- To provide reflective practice to staff, supporting service users from diverse backgrounds in building a fulfilling life by creating a psychologically safe and trusting environment.
- To undertake service evaluation, audit, and research as necessary, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
- To contribute to service development through new, evidence-based initiatives, driving excellence in mental health care.
- To work as an autonomous professional within guidelines and codes of conduct, guided by principles and policies of the service, following and contributing to the development of service procedures.
- To work within NICE guidelines, ensuring the delivery of best practice in mental health care.
- Registered Psychotherapist postgraduate diploma level or equivalent.
- Experience working in secure settings, with a focus on delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex needs.
- Experience of 1:1 work with individuals with complex needs, including risk assessments and the development of personalized care plans.
- Experience of delivering group-based interventions, including ACT, Schema, CFT, attachment, and CBT.
- Experience of MDT working, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
- Knowledge of therapeutic approaches, including ACT, Schema, CFT, attachment, and CBT.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
