Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the manufacture and test of cable harness assemblies within the electrical department, in accordance with the appropriate product certification procedures and customer orders/drawings. They will also be required to provide support and advice to trainee and semi-skilled colleagues in their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture and test cable harness assemblies to the required quality standards
  • Provide support and advice to trainee and semi-skilled colleagues
  • Work independently to produce products and electronic assemblies
  • Contribute to the continuous growth and improvement of the production team
Requirements:
  • Experience in electrical wiring and assembly in a quality assured environment
  • Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring schedules and schematics
  • Ability to certify own work in line with company quality standards
  • Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits
  • Strong soldering and crimping skills
  • Experience in the use of inspection/measuring equipment
  • Ability to work to engineering specifications and technical drawings
  • Work well in a team as well as on own initiative
