Power Press Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Power Press Operator to join our manufacturing team at Workwales. As a Power Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and setting up mechanical and hydraulic power presses to produce precision components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate power presses, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Set up tools and dies, adjusting press settings as needed.
  • Inspect parts for quality and conformance.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and collaborate with the quality control team.
  • Follow safety protocols and keep the work area organized.
  • Assist in training junior operators.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience operating power presses.
  • Certification in power press safety (e.g., PUWER).
  • Understanding of ISO quality standards and proficiency in reading engineering drawings.
