Power Press Operator Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Power Press Operator to join our manufacturing team at Workwales. As a Power Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and setting up mechanical and hydraulic power presses to produce precision components.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate power presses, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Set up tools and dies, adjusting press settings as needed.
- Inspect parts for quality and conformance.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Maintain accurate records and collaborate with the quality control team.
- Follow safety protocols and keep the work area organized.
- Assist in training junior operators.
- 2+ years of experience operating power presses.
- Certification in power press safety (e.g., PUWER).
- Understanding of ISO quality standards and proficiency in reading engineering drawings.
