We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our Transport team at THE DELIVERY GROUP LIMITED. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent service to our customers and ensuring the safe transportation of goods.

• Complete collections and deliveries to plan, working to specified run lists provided
• Provide excellent customer service, representing the Company with a professional attitude and behaviour to customers and staff at all times
• Transport and safely deliver Company and Customer products
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time to meet all deadlines
• Comply with local legislative requirements and Company policies & procedures
• Work as a team with other Transport Drivers and colleagues throughout the Company
• Ensure all vehicle Pre-Operational checks are completed to a high standard before driving
• Complete all paperwork clearly and provide a thorough de-brief to the Transport Department at the end of each shift
• Report all defects immediately, once noticed
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as required by the Company

• Demonstrable previous experience as a C+E Driver
• Sound knowledge of Road Transport Legislation
• Ability to understand Company Health & Safety procedures delivered in English
• Composed temperament and ability to react calmly when things are not going according to plan
• Passionate, driven and motivated to complete all tasks in the allotted timescales to the highest quality

• Full clean UK driving licence (or a maximum of 6 points may be considered)
• Completed CPC
• A current UK issued digital tachograph card
