Pioneer Selection is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a fully automated manufacturing site in the UK. The successful candidate will be involved in both planned and reactive maintenance, as well as a range of continuous improvement and reliability projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of production equipment.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement projects and enhance overall efficiency.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to production staff on maintenance-related matters.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in an industrial environment as a maintenance engineer.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including experience with three-phase and single-phase systems, motors, sensors, relays, inverters, and PLC fault finding.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with production staff and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
