Automotive Mechanic Position at Desmond Motors

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to manufacturer standards and service timelines
  • Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, braking systems, and suspension components
  • Prepare vehicles for safety inspections
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic assessments
  • Utilize in-house systems for documentation and reporting
  • Participate in training programs

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in routine vehicle maintenance
  • Ability to assess vehicle components for precise diagnostics
  • Preferred experience with commercial vehicles
  • Minimum of 1 year of mechanic experience is preferred
  • City & Guilds Automotive certification is preferred
  • Proficient in IT applications

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • No weekend work; occasional late evenings may be necessary

Compensation: £22,322.00 - £43,667.00 annually
