Our Business Unit

Our newly created business unit works on an exciting range of high-voltage projects, renewable energy projects, independent connection provider projects, and EPC projects. We are rapidly expanding our team, making it a great time to join the business.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Manager to join our team and drive growth and delivery in the rail, renewables, DNO, HV power, and ICP markets. As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for all commercial matters from tender stage through to contract completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimisation of margin on projects and protection/mitigation of commercial risk
  • Appointment and management of sub-contractors
  • Client negotiation and management
  • Supporting the project team as required

Requirements

  • Formal qualification, ideally at degree level or above, in Quantity Surveying or a relevant commercial/construction subject
  • A member of or working towards an appropriate professional qualification/membership (RICS/CIOB)
  • Commercial management of £multi-million construction contracts, ideally in the renewables, EV charging, or ICP/DNO industries
  • NEC contract knowledge
