Senior Planner

Turner & Townsend Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our Natural Resources and New Energies team. As a Senior Planner, you will play a key role in driving innovation and enhancing our client's integrated controls capability.
Key Responsibilities- Tailor planning approaches to meet client needs in line with best practice.
- Lead members of the planning team to develop and maintain plans on complex, high-risk projects or programmes.
- Work with project teams to define scope of work and develop detailed schedules, cost information, and identification of variances from the original plan.
- Evaluate project schedule progress and performance, identifying developing problem areas.
- Lead analysis to understand alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.
- Develop status reports to keep management informed on project progress.
- Train and coach clients and less experienced team members on planning processes and practices.
- Ability to interact with management/leadership members when delivering updates on planning progress within a complex project/programme environment.
- Ability to act as a subject matter expert, delivering to planning processes on complex projects/programmes along with associated processes & reports.
- Guide the team on appropriate use of systems and tools in relation to Planning & Scheduling.
- UK driving license or ability to travel to client sites across the region, as required.
- Experience in using a standard scheduling tool (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.) is essential.
- Formal training in Tilos Time location software is desirable.
- Demonstrable experience of Cemar Contract Management tool or equivalent is desirable.
