Exciting Opportunity at Yorkshire Vets, Morley Surgery

We are seeking a passionate and experienced veterinary surgeon to join our dynamic team as a Lead Veterinary Surgeon. As a senior member of our team, you will work closely with our practice leadership to drive the practice forward and take charge of an enthusiastic team.

Our modern and well-equipped practice offers a supportive environment with separate dog and cat wards, two theatres, and a dental area. We prioritize continuity of care and keep many cases in-house, with full support from our Thornbury hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of veterinary professionals with a friendly, approachable, and caring attitude towards pets, owners, and staff.
  2. Have a good length of experience in a small animal practice and strong leadership skills.

About Us:

Our practice is comprised of a dedicated team of 14 vets, 11 RVNs (including 2 in training), and approximately 50 support staff across all our sites. We are proud to have 5 certificate holders at our hospital, specializing in ophthalmology, surgery, and emergency medicine.

We value work-life balance and offer both full and part-time hours. No out-of-hours work is required, and you will only need to work one Saturday morning (8:30-12:30) every four weeks. 5 day week (40 hours) for a full-time role.
