Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our global messaging team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for taking full ownership of our in-house developed enterprise Java messaging API codebase, which supports 100s of applications and trading systems for global data transfer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable messaging solutions using Java and Solace messaging expertise.
  • Collaborate closely with API application developers, product owners, and infrastructure teams to optimize and enhance messaging systems that support a wide range of business functions.
  • Work within a dynamic, multi-discipline team to ensure seamless integration of messaging systems with various business applications.
  • Develop and implement messaging solutions that meet the needs of our clients in the capital markets sector.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Java development with a strong grasp of multithreading, concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Expertise in Solace messaging and ability to design and implement high-performance messaging solutions.
  • Strong understanding of messaging systems and ability to integrate with various business applications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
