STS Aviation Services: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer

STS Aviation Services is a rapidly growing company, and we are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team at the Manchester Hangar.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide health and safety advice and support to STS Aviation Services UK Ltd. across all UK locations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety standards, processes, communications, training, and systems.
  • Ensure a safe working environment with minimal health risks.
  • Collaborate with HSE Managers to meet statutory obligations related to health, safety, and welfare at work.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments for work equipment and operations with Managers.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of safety inspections, fire drills, fire alarms, risk assessments, and lone working procedures.
  • Assist in developing and implementing health and safety policies, systems of work, and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate health and safety records and training records.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant health, safety, and welfare at work legislation and communicate changes to the business.
  • Participate in regular meetings to report on health and safety matters for STS Aviation Services UK Ltd.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Skilled in gathering, analyzing, and reporting on key H&S data and statistics.
  • Proficient in IT, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
