Electrical Operations Manager in the Water Sector

Are you a seasoned Electrical Quantity Surveyor with a dedication to team leadership and the successful execution of projects? Join our innovative team as an Electrical Operations Manager and take on a pivotal role in directing and managing our electrical initiatives to fruition.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor a group of electricians, offering direction, support, and encouragement to foster optimal performance and career development.


Project Oversight:
Manage the delivery of projects, encompassing planning, execution, and oversight, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgetary constraints.

Regulatory Compliance:
Guarantee that all projects meet safety protocols, health and environmental standards, and quality benchmarks throughout their duration.
Engage with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to grasp project goals, specifications, and client expectations.

Site Evaluations:
Perform regular site evaluations to monitor progress, identify potential challenges, and implement timely corrective measures.

Resource Allocation:
Create and uphold project timelines, allocate resources efficiently, and track project finances to ensure effective project execution.
Provide technical knowledge and support to the team, addressing technical issues and ensuring superior quality outcomes.

Electrical QS Certification:
Required to hold an Electrical QS certification.

Industry Background:
Demonstrated experience in the water sector with an emphasis on engineering projects.
Comprehensive understanding of safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards and their implementation in engineering initiatives.

Project Management Expertise:
Strong project management capabilities, with the proficiency to plan, execute, and oversee projects within established timelines and financial plans.

Communication Proficiency:

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to cultivate relationships and collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
