About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Vision for Education - Newcastle. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a friendly primary school in Consett, supporting students in KS2 and covering PPA lessons across the school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting students in KS2 with their academic and personal development
  • Covering PPA lessons across the school, delivering engaging and interactive lessons
  • Working collaboratively with the teaching staff to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment
  • Providing additional support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Requirements
  • Experience of working with primary school-aged children
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
