Fox Construction Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee operations in a dynamic construction environment.


Position Overview:
The Construction Site Supervisor will report directly to the Contracts Manager and will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish, organize, and manage site facilities, including offices, canteens, and welfare provisions.
  • Develop method statements for all temporary site arrangements as required.
  • Adhere to all aspects of the construction phase Health and Safety plans concerning temporary site setups.
  • Oversee the installation of roofing systems according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Ensure that materials and labor are present on-site as per project schedules to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Implement safe working systems for all roofing and scaffolding activities, ensuring timely provision of safety equipment.
  • Communicate any changes in roofing or related areas to the Contracts Manager or Senior Structural Engineer, ensuring compliance with agreed variations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the daily performance of roofing teams and subcontractors.
  • Maintain a daily log and produce a photographic report on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure adherence to Safety Responsibility Statements.

Team Management:
Direct reports will be from the Contracts Manager.
  • Review and approve time sheets for operatives.

Qualifications:
  • CSCS Certification
  • HNC in Building or equivalent NVQ Level
  • Comprehensive knowledge of roofing products
  • CITB SMSTS Certification
  • First Aid Certification
  • Asbestos Awareness Training
  • Work at Height Training
  • Scaffold Awareness Training
  • Valid Driving License

Applicants should possess a minimum of 5 years of roofing experience, covering all aspects of roof infrastructure, including flat and pitched roofing, as well as site and personnel management.
