Position Overview:
- Execute tasks as directed by the Installation Engineering Manager or the designated project team, focusing primarily on technical challenges while also addressing administrative and project management responsibilities.
- Collaborate closely with Project Manager(s) and the International Business Unit Leader to ensure that all project goals, timelines, deliverables, and milestones are achieved.
- Oversee the installation engineering of subsea systems, encompassing development, assessment, engineering, design, controls, procurement, and construction phases to guarantee efficient and effective project completion.
- Provide guidance and supervision for engineering tasks carried out by the project engineering team.
- Accountable for drafting and reviewing installation engineering procedures and specifications to ensure alignment with design principles, relevant standards, and client expectations.
- Prepare design modifications, specifications, schematics, and testing protocols for installation equipment and subsea systems, which may involve equipment location, vendor selection assistance, and creating scopes of work for subcontractors.
- Conduct reviews and/or perform engineering calculations and analyses.
- Evaluate product designs, participate in, and lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and System Integration Tests (SIT).
- Establish project deliverable timelines by analyzing project plans and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing deliverables.
- Develop presentations, articles, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with Document Control, Design Analysts, and Design/Drafters throughout the project lifecycle.
- Engage with project team members and clients in both formal and informal settings.
- Oversee non-engineering activities, including supervision of offshore operations and on-site management of projects and subcontractors.
Contract Duration: 6 months
Compensation: £650 per day
