Senior Town Planner or Principal Town Planner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Town Planner or Principal Town Planner to join our dynamic and innovative town planning consultancy based in Gloucester.

About the Role:

  • Manage and deliver a variety of planning applications and appeals.
  • Advise clients on planning strategies and provide expert guidance through the development process.
  • Lead project teams and liaise with stakeholders, local authorities, and consultants.
  • Prepare detailed reports and planning statements.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in Town Planning or a related field.
  • Chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI) or working towards it.
  • Proven experience in planning, ideally within a consultancy or local authority environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK planning legislation and regulations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
