Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive EHS Performance Manager to oversee our Environmental, Occupational Health Services, and Safety Management Frameworks. Your role will involve the development and execution of EHS Safety Management Frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a robust Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Culture by assessing performance and ensuring adherence to legal standards.
- Assist in conducting Risk Assessments and revise safety protocols as necessary.
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of the EHS Management Framework.
- Guide and support management in HSE practices.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to pinpoint hazards and areas for enhancement.
- Collaborate with Insurers and Legal teams on pertinent claims and property safeguarding.
Qualifications:
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
- NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, with a degree-level education.
Skills Required:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledgeable in ISO14001 Environmental Management System and OSHAS 18001.
- Experience in chemical manufacturing settings.
- Ability to conduct machinery risk assessments and formulate safe working procedures.
- Skilled in data interpretation for compliance and drafting control procedures.
- Experienced in accident investigations and root cause analysis.
