Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our client, a leading professional services company, on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the on-time and in-budget delivery of various projects across IT security, infrastructure, and applications, with budgets ranging from tens of thousands to several million pounds.
About the Role
The IT Project Manager will work closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to deliver projects that meet the company's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on-time and in-budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including the CTO, project sponsors, and team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on-time and in-budget.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile and Scrum.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
