Today, they continue to develop and implement pioneering intelligence technologies to protect customer vessels, people, maritime domain, and reputation.

Position Description:

The company is seeking a multi-skilled, passionate developer to join their growing engineering team as the ArcGIS developer. This position will work closely with supporting departments and interact with the project management office daily as well as other business units and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, result-oriented and be able to perform well in a fast-paced environment. This position will be responsible for following internal software development life cycle (SDLC) standards and accepted best practices for developed solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain geospatial applications and tools (ESRI experience would be a plus).
  • Develop and implement algorithms for geospatial data analysis and visualization.
  • Integrate with third-party geospatial APIs and libraries.
  • Collaborate with other developers, GIS specialists, and project managers to deliver high-quality geospatial solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in geospatial development.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in programming languages relevant to geospatial development (e.g., Python, Java).
  • Experience with ArcGIS platform and its associated tools.
  • Strong understanding of geospatial data models and concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
