Procurement Manager Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading contract negotiations, managing supplier relationships, and implementing effective procurement strategies to optimize total value across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure procurement goals and targets are understood and met.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier relationships during the contracting process.
  • Support continuous improvement processes within the procurement team and with stakeholders.
  • Provide category-level commercial, contractual, and negotiation support across the group.
  • Manage small to medium size projects and support negotiations for large and complex contracts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years procurement experience with similar responsibilities.
  • Experience in Contract Law and contract drafting.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
