About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at IC Resources. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge embedded systems solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop low-level embedded C/C++ software for a variety of applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components and ensure seamless system operation.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software documentation and technical guides.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in low-level embedded C/C++ development.
  • Strong understanding of electronics and modern software practices.
  • Experience with scripting methods, such as Python, bash, shell, and perl.
  • Knowledge of register maps and memory spaces within SoCs.
  • Experience analyzing waveforms from oscilloscopes.
  • Communication protocol knowledge, including SPI, I2C, and parallel busses.
  • Experience with GCC, makefiles, linker scripts, GDB, and automated build systems.
  • MISRA and quality-assurance techniques.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics.
  • Knowledge of VHDL/Verilog for ASIC/FPGA design.
